We are off-road addicts and as such we realized long ago that the durability and performance of the factory Independent Front Suspension (IFS) system was not the best for the heavy off-road tires and use that we like to do and use. Sure they can be beefed up, lifted up, etc but they are still limited in suspension travel and durability.

With our strong background in long travel coil suspensions we set out to make kits for the popular vehicles that would enable the average do-it-yourself mechanic with a little fabrication/metal cutting skills to swap out the IFS style suspension and 4wd system for a more durable solid axle. We figure while doing this swap rather than just getting a new axle we should set it up for long travel, smooth ride and excellent durability. From this thought process and background our Solid Axle Swaps or SAS kits emerged.

Typical improvements are increase of suspension travel 5 fold with no loss of handling and a vast increase in durability.
We have kits available for everything from Dana 44 axles to Dana 60 or stronger axles. Kits include coil mounts top and bottom, dual shock mounts, custom pitman arm, radius arms, progressive rated coil springs, new track bar mounts, track bar and associated mounting hardware.

What you will need to provide are the axle assembly itself, front driveline, brake lines and steering linkage. Keep in mind that you are changing the entire front suspension and front axle drive system along with brake and steering components so things like ABS sensors and the like may not function as before without some custom work on your part. It is up to the owner/driver of the vehicle to determine if this is safe and legal for their intended use.
